Alot of the time when i try to set up a LAN game, when the game shows up it shows up grey as if the other player does not have the map.

Does anyone know what causes this problem and how to fix it, its really pissing me off rOfl.

The other player doesnt have the map or the version of renegade that the server has. Try hosting it with a map that you know the other player has or updating versions to 1.037.
