You don't make skins with 3dsmax, you make them with a program like photoshop.

(Oh, I've got 3dsmax 4.2...)

I have 3Ds Max 5. But you don't make skins with it, like Sir Phoenixx said. (I spelled it right Razz ) You make can make the meshes of the character, but not skins. you need a photo program.

3Ds Max 5 is just Gmax with many, many more incredible features.
