Shoulden't the moderators, or servers or whoever does the good job
of making sure that Renegade continues to be a great game on and
offline, shoulden't they make it possible for the Transport Chopper
to be able to lift vehicles. Woulden't that be cool???!!! Imagine
what kind of rush can be achieved with 5 Transports, fully loaded
with infantry and each carrying a vehicle, maybe a few fully loaded
APCs. I think that we should kindly ask for the moderators to
make this feature possible. What do you think?

I think that would make the game more interesting. You would have an even bigger array of tactics you could use in a game.
But of course there are the downsides...It would bring in alot of n00by tactics as well. For example, on walls flying, you would have so many people transporting MLRS or Artillary on top of the middle cliff.

Theres no where to attach a vehicle to the transport. Even if there was a place to attach the vehicle to the transport, the attached vehicle would have no physics. Meaning the transport could move the vehicle its carrying through any object, allowing it to put the vehicle inside a building for example.

I get what you mean. When I made bots drop out of chinooks while i was in an apache, I could actually pass right through the chinook.
Anyway, isn't Reborn doing this for the Carryall?

Hmm, the idea of an Orca Transport might be worth looking into. Tiberian Sun used those, correct?
But there is a problem with the physics. I've mucked around in the realm of vehicle physics before, and I tell you, it is a scary place. Designing an Orca Transport for Renegade, or even lift cables/door animations for the Transport heli is just too much work. But, hey, if any of you modders are up to it, I'd play it. 
PS: The idea of tanks being dropped from fixed-wing aircraft with parachutes/disposable airframes was experimented with (minor success) during World War 2. Perhaps...

It wont happen server side. It MIGHT be possible client side with new models that are setup properly and some tricky scripting, but dont count on it.

To all the unrealistic comments. I think if you Play the Single player you see they them actually bringing you vehicles with a transport chopper.
From what I know about chinooks, they are actually quit strong and can carry certain vehicles.
Size doesn't matter.

Chinooks are very strong, infact, they can carry heavy artillery like the 152mm or a humvee with troops aboard. They also make great gun ships with a gatling gun firing at 4000 rounds per minute!

Did you know there is this little thing called edit button? NO? o.k I will tell you where it is.
When you post a message, and look at it after it is posted, look to the right part of your screen(or part where your right hand is). Now, there are three buttons, first one says edit, second one is Reply and last one is Quote.
Now you click one the edit button with your left mouse button (if you are left handed then use right button) and.....
.....Wow, your post appears again but this time you will be able to edit it and after you are finished, click on the apply changes(I am not going t tell you where that button is, you have to find it for your self), and your post will change.
When you do this, you 1.won't double post, 2.Won't look like idiot for double posting.
Remember, post count is as important as a fly on a wall.
