Yesterday, we got a nice 'award' for the moddb award 2005:

Why? I'd be lying if I didn't say dystopia - but lets share the hype around and give another mod a chance and Reborn is that mod. It seems each week this team pushes out an update of some sort. Constant updates, constant dramas.. never boring, a bit like the classic TV show "days of our lives".

I don't know if you realize it or not, but "visual delight" and "most hyped" aren't really awards. Awards are things like:

Top 15 Mods
Top 5 Upcoming Mods
Top Mod by Genre
Action
Adventure
Driving
Puzzle
Role-Playing
Simulation
Sports
Strategy

That kind of stuff is something, at the least, that I consider an award worthy of mention. The editor's choice stuff is a foot-note they throw in at the last second, and is usually something of little merit that they tack on just for extra ideas.

I noticed that too. Well maybe Moddb admins tough it would be a bit hard to do that to a mod.

the lightmap whatever stuff makes those models and such look really cool. gives it that dark, contrast-y feeling that i got out of tiberian sun.

Editors Choice? Who's the editor. Whats so specail about his choices. What about something like Renardins choice or ACK's Choice or Comrads choice.
