Installation Error [message #185792]

Alright one of my friends by the name of Weman is having some troubles installing his renegade game. When he attempts to install his game he recieves this error message and it crashes back to desktop.

Setep.exe - Application Failure

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006). Click OK to terminate the application.

OK

Attached is the actual message error.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

have you tried another renegade installation CD? If his is damaged that could be the source of the problem.

Alternatly try using his renegade installation CD on another machine and see if it works there, to find out if the problem lies with the CD or the computer.
