I need an LCD monitor...

If you look around you can usually get a good 19' LCD monitor for about $250 (after rebate usually) or a 17' for less.

Yeah, and http://www.Newegg.com has pretty good prices for most of their stuff.

I buy everything from Newegg. I would buy an LCD screen but I'm always broke.

Too bad LCDs have to run at their native resolution or the graphics will look like shit. For the higher end LCDs, they require 1600x1200 and higher (19 inch+). You'd need some powerful hardware to play many of the newer games at that resolution.

I dont like LCD i like CRT it doesnt leave tails of stuff when you move to fast. Ex. grab a window on the screen on a CRT it doesnt leave a copy of itself. The only LCD i had did that all the time. So i sold it.

That's called ghosting and it is affected by the response time on your TFT. For example, my TFT is 12ms, anything over ~20ms then you'll see ghosting.

I NEVER have ghosting on my TFT, so your statement is opinion is slightly wrong.

He's right about that, and that's another reason why I have never bought an LCD screen yet.

It doesn't completely stop me from buying one. I could get one if my computer was incredibly fast, then I can always use the native resolution. I actually can right now, but my current CRT can't do that without making it look like shit.

I'm mostly waiting for OLED screens to come out.

Not to my knowledge...they are brand new though, but if they start making screeching noise, I will tell you.

Hmm... mine did it instantly. It's been a half a year and my warranty is still around. I might return them to get them replaced.
