Hahaha... I can't tell you how many times I've been an Engineer and start shooting at another Engineer/Tech only to kill him before they get a single shot off because they're trying to load their pistol! I've gotten to the point where its' the first thing I do whenever I get a new character - load my pistol. I've had more kills from it than I ever expected to get when I started playing online.

lol I think the loading on ur own is better, and yes.. I always load before I leave the base. Because it would save ur life so many times, especially as a eng or sniper.

Host gets a lot of stuff. In addition to the pre-loaded pistol, they also get sound effects for the buildings which add a little to the atmosphere, as well as warnings when the harvy is being attacked and the harvy's health showing up in the "K" menu.

And of course 0 lag Razz .

My pistol saved me losts of time. After running out of sniper rounds in tunnels, I sometimes can kills 2 soldiers and a shotgunner with it.

Anyway, back on topic I usually load up my pistol, especially when I use Eng/Hot/Tech, and I recommend everyone to do so as it's a REALLY basic tactic. Razz

Today the pistol got me some good points. I was patrolling the bridge for any apc's or mrls on city_flying because everyone on the team was turtling and my orcas was ambused by three havocs. After I landed, I took out two of the havocs with my pistol since I was an enginner.
