Kirby is a tad slow, you have to be careful around him.
I'm sure you'll get unbanned since you apologized, viper said the only reason he banned you was because you insisted on bitching about it instead of just saying sorry and dropping it.

Ban the competition for being better? Don't flatter yourself.
Joroe has a legitimate complaint, and the only reason viper banned him is because he didn't apologize for it because it wasn't a big deal. He has since apologized and as far as I know viper will unban him. Your situation is different, as the "we don't like you clause" is applied. We have nothing against joroe, really. This also has nothing to do with "pressure" from you, as if that was enough to unban someone you'd probably be allowed on our servers. Your presence changed nothing because I had already read this before you posted and was discussing a course of action. You just want some piece of the action, as if we owe you something because we dislike you. My advice to you is to dig a nice hole, crawl in it, and pull a rock over the hole so we don't have to read any more of your whining. I also suggest not crying while in the hole as you will drown.

I call them like I see them. You kids are ruining a perfectly good, lag free server, for no other reason than irrational feelings of hatred. What's more rational? being bent for a ban for playing well, or banning someone you don't know because you don't like them?
I vote for the latter.

You didn't get banned for playing well, as you didn't even get a chance to play on our server. If I remember correctly you were banned after about a minute. Lemme tell you, you were such a HUGE ASSET in that minute that we all realized no one else would score any points so we banned you. :rolleyes: If that's what you think happened, you are far beyond any help that the modern medical world can offer.
On the topic of not knowing someone: I can read your posts and determine your opinions about certain topics from those posts. That's enough for me to be able to tell that I wouldn't want you around on a regular basis.

You keep changing your mind. Was I banned for you not liking me, or not playing well?
Inconsistency is the first sign that a story is false, AS YOURS SEEMS TO BE.
I highly doubt you remember the instance of my banning, and taskbot admitted in a page he did it, because "I was a #$%^".
Are you taskbot, or is this another inconsistency you are scrambling to explain yet again.
Oh, and yes, I do get a vote, as we are no longer on your server, which consequentially has no effect on any aspect of my "democratic" response to your idiotic, inconsistent, drivel. I am sorry to see joe give in to your server blackmail and suck up for the sake of a video game. You are an ass, and I will NEVER say sorry for something I didn't do, or say, or whatever you make up. Have fun awaiting your next ban for whatever reason this idiot dreams up next time, joe. because it WILL happen again.

Here is the story, as it happened:
My friend Mahkra and i were playing. Mahkra's tank got c4'd on the field by a cloaker. He ran that cloaker over, and, seeing the apc close by to defend his tank from any other cloakers that might try to steal it (ie, running them over) got out to repair the c4.
joroe started ramming his tank, which moved the c4 out of his view, so he had to move to repair it. eventually, the c4 blew up (with about half a slit left to repair) and killed mahkra. it also damaged his tank, but since he had been repairing it, the tank survived.
about 30 seconds later, the tank was stolen. it took me about 2 shots from my med to kill it, so no real harm done.
however, mahkra had been ALT-5-ing (hold position) when joroe was ramming him. after i blew mahkra's ex-tank up, i pm'ed joroe, saying "thisis what happened; it was your fault, don't do that in the future", in shorter, more curse-filled phrases (something like "he was trying to repair the fucking C4; next time don't make your teammate lose his fucking tank"). if he had just replied "sorry, won't happen again," i'da dropped it. joroe is in general, a good player.
but something musta gotten under his skin, cause he started telling me off. (like, "it was his fault for getting out in the field" ... me: we were watching out for cloakers" him "yada yada yada" me: i don't have time for this. ) so i banned him.
he's unbanned now; it was just a "temp ban".
and two interesting notes: 1. that is the first tank mahkra has ever "lost" in over a month and a half of playing; and 2: mahkra and i always put a bunch of remote c4 on our tanks before taking them out, so that if they're ever stolen, we can blow them, not lose a tank, and get points for killing an enemy tank.
unfortunately mahkra died from the enemy c4, so i had to kill the tank myself.
P.S. wanna know whats fun? buy a mammy on field or under. cover it with remote c4. get out on the field and let the cloaker steal it. blow it up. get pints for killing a mammy. fun, no? (sepscially if you wait till he takes it into his base. get a kill or two at the same time, ya know?

sounds pretty close to what happened as I seen it also. My bad for not paying attention to the "hold position" I did not relealize I was hitting the tank. again my bad. I did not think I was arguing, however, I could see where one would think I was complaining. My whole point was Mahkra died from the c4 blast and another gdi player had an oppertunity to jump into the open tank. For some reason he did not jump into the tank. I was asking him why he did not jump in the tank, I was not asking mahkra anything, it was another player I was asking. Then I got pm'ed by viper, who was pretty angry with me about losing Mahkra's tank.
Anyways I do apologize, it says whine free server and I was whining,it is your server, your rules, and I won't cause trouble when allowed back in.

Kirby I would not call it sucking up... like I said before, I like to play the game on lag free servers. I have always found fud's servers to be a good place to play the game I love. It was my hope in starting this thread to have a discussion about what happened. For myself, it was never to prove my point or anything like that. I just wanted to find out what happened and correct the problem. I think I have accomplished that at least I hope I did. It was not my intention to prove a point. For me, I just wanted to clear the air with viper. Whatever happened between you and fud is between you guys. I just want to play the game.
I agree with you in that there rules and how they kick can be harsh. However, it is their server, they can do what they want and say what ever they want. I understand that whenever I choose to play on their server.
Again, I love the game, I have fun on their server, I did not want a misunderstanding to stop my enjoyment. If it is your perception I "kissed up" I am sorry. My true intention was clearing the air. I really try to avoid the back and forth fighting, for me, that is non-productive.

Yes, I see now that Viper has related what happened, you were at fault.
Enjoy your games on FUD. I am glad they saw the rational way of it this time. You are a rarity in that they allowed you back in. I have never seen them let someone back in, no matter the circumstances.

Hate to intervene, but Viper clears a shitload of people off the temp/banlist on a daily basis. Almost no-one within reason is banned for more than a day. Unless the clan explicitely tells Viper not to remove the ban, well, then. Hmm.
