Sympatico High Speed

2003-04-22 20:24:35 EST: 892 / 80
Your download speed : 892756 bps, or 892 kbps.
A 108.9 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 80971 bps, or 80 kbps.

Hmm... So that is why I can barely host. Great d/l bad upload. Oh well I am content joining.

What city in Canada do you live in? My adsl is same price as sympatico but 3x download and 10x upload

Well I live in Toronto. But I doubt my parents would be very content with having to change their ISP just for me. Maybe when I build my own comp I will take a look. What is their site?

Take a look at this!

Your download speed : 1731030 bps, or 1731 kbps.
A 211.3 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 227001 bps, or 227 kbps.
Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!

Question, why can't this connection hold a 6 player server. I have this:
P4 1.7GHZ
512MB RDRAM
Geforce 4 MX 440

and a six player server doesn't work. Why not?

Nur 7 can, default is 10

Thanks. So what is the max amount of players I can run with the setup I have, and what Nur do I use to achieve that?

You can host a 3v3 dedicated at nur 6 with no ping lag. Unded you "might" be able to at nur 5 but would warp and such
