I know what it takes to fund servers. I'm not an idiot as to what it takes to have a server. Granted, I've never actually set one up, but if I got people to do it for me, I'm damn well going to take advantage of it. That's besides the point, anyways. The fact of the matter is, I don't have stupid rules. I don't ban someone because a word may be offensive. I've felt the same pain that you guys have, and yet, I have a different opinion, so take it as it is... AN OPINION. If you don't like it, oh well, ignore it then. You certainly don't help my opinion of MP at all.
As for the circle jerking, I'm not part of a "close community", so I can't say that I've had the "pleasure" of a circle jerk. 
With that being said, I also have 2 words for you:
GROW UP!

An oppinion yes, however you do not seem to know that other pll have different oppinions, and those people actually have the access/power to do something against it.

About ignoring, if we did that we would get a flame like that every 3 seconds.. or at least every time someone dies.
You DO know that not every country has a 16+ mark on there renegade disc do you? that means young children are playing this game as well. What would you do as a parrent (Not that i am, but my immagination on that front is pretty damn good) if your son/daughter of 12~14 would use words like cancer, and "shut the fuck up and die asshole" to just about everyone that does something to him/her that he/she doesnt like.
Immagin that then recomplain about or rules.

I want to protect them from idiots like you, not necessarily hot heads like the moron who got banned.
Stryder and xptek are the main ones who set up the servers.
If someone calls me a cancer, I won't get offensive and kick/ban them... I'll just insult them back. If someone tells me to get cancer, I might take a little more offense, but I wouldn't ban... for very long.
I know all too well about people having different opinions. I'm not the one getting all worked up about some random person's opinion about the way I run my server(s).
The game is rated "Teen" which is actually 13. Kids as young as 20 months (yes... < 2 years old... though rare) are saying the word "fuck". I started swearing in 4th grade at the age of 10, so I honestly don't see what the problem is. Most kids probably start swearing by the age of 12, anyways, if not younger. Not to mention Renegade is a "violent" game, so I don't see how some random idiot's language is going to change anything.
I don't need to be a part of a community to have friends... idiot.
Shut the fuck up or actually act mature, either one's fine by me.

lmao!, seriously i take it you don't know my age. thats fine by me think as me as 12 then for all i care.
Community doesn't have to be "on line". id be happy to show you the definition of it but it would just be a waste of words for you as you wouldn't be able to grasp the concept.
AS for the fact that children of 10 years and down are using words like that should show you how well they are looked after, personally i would not allow such words to be used to to the severity and thought behind them.
As for the "teen" rating, yes in the USA thats 13, but in the Netherlands thats 15+, and in the UK IIRC thats 16+. (Then again.. UK is weird  )
So if we decide to ban someone for words like that its our call to make.
And to get the record straight, we unbanned him TWICE! he broke the rules again shortly thereafter.
So don't think were totally heartless, we know what were doing.
as for you, i don't care what you are going to say next.
But its of no concern to me. you can just continue to flame or you could try to act like a normal guy and keep your opinions to yourself!

Maybe the word cancer has multiple definitions in Englisch, but in dutch it only means cancer as the disease. Yes it is often used by dutch people. Like words like fuck are used a lot in america. We use diseases, altough it isn't accepted by many people. And I know a lot of people who really take a lot of offence when people use words like this.
I would ban him, seeing some more of his quotes. I also see some discriminating stuff in his texts. And a lot of dutch translations of God Damned.
And DJM, we calling the englisch people weird, is the same as you calling the canadians and the french people weird. It has nothing to with racisism, there is quite a lot of racism in the netherlands but we never use the word weird in that case.

I take it that you honestly think you're smarter than me. You cannot seriously think that I don't know what "community" means. MP is an ONLINE community. I'm saying that I DON'T need an online community to have friends. Seeing as I prove this every day, I think it's best you shut up and think before you spout off at the mouth/fingers/etc....
I never said you can't run your servers the way you want to. I'm anti-censorship, so you're not going to convince me that censoring "cancer" is a good idea. Stop trying to put words in my mouth. You have nothing to go on, so just drop it. All that's going on is that I'm expressing my opinion, you take offense to my opinion and then try to call me immature, stupid, etc... GROW UP.
