crc mismatch error?? [message #159494]

i recently had renguard, i uninstalled renegade and renguard when i got bored of it. now i try to install renguard and it comes up with the modify/repair/remove screen as if its already installed but i removed it via control panel/ add/remove programs. so now theres nothing to remove in programs there appears to be no rg related files in my data or westwood folder but it says its in

but it doesnt work it says crc mismatch error cant even update core patch, ive tried reinstalling it but it says its alrdy in and if i press repair it says cannot modify this??

so basically i havnt got renguard installed coz i cant get on it and i cant install it coz it says its in and crc mismatch error??? any help plz?

Woah woah woah...someone translate for me

So you're saying you uninstalled Ren and RenG and it still shows RenG in your system?

You might have not clicked remove all components of RenG and just did modify,or your computer is still getting rid of it.Normally if your computer is low on diskspace and memory it takes a while to get rid of the newer files.This happened to my friend a while ago,all he did was scan his computer for RenG and it dissapeared.

There I took about 3 minutes to do that and I hope it helps you.

yeah ive sorted it now, i uninstalled via control panel but it still left some files in westwood dir: and i reinstalled with em still in !!

works now thx
