Not a spammer, but hell i have been to. Damn its cold down there. I actually didnt spam. I wasnt going to say anything about the topic being locked, but i did remember that sometimes things are locked for being off-forum. So i just posted that as a sort of warning. An odd warning, too, isnt it? I do still want to know if that happened to Z310, or a friend of his.

Zach, lay off of him.

Lujitsu, this is the General Discussion forum. Most topics don't involve Renegade anymore since a small percentage actually play it. The fire also happened to Garrett (z310). He went to make french fries, decided against it, and forgot to turn off the oil.

Ah ok. Hell, the forgetfulness thing happens to everyone. Especially me, unfortunately. Ive blown up a Microwave before by forgetting that metal doesnt go into it. It was Tin Foil, thank god, and not like a fork or anything. Its unfortunate that EA doesnt do anything about Renegade, since im sure that if they made "Renegade: Reborn" it would attract alot of people. Not as many as World of Warcraft, mind you, because on the very FIRST day it hit shelves, it sold over 1 billion copies. *Begins rant about World of Warcraft, and Blizzard.*

Over a billion on the first day it hit shelves? Doubtful.

Quote:

IRVINE, Calif. - December 1, 2004 - Blizzard Entertainment® today confirmed that World of Warcraft® has broken day-one sales records in North America, making it the most successful PC game launch ever. World of Warcraft, the company's subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), sold through to over 240,000 customers at retailers in North America on Tuesday, November 23, selling more in its first 24 hours than any other PC game in history.*

In addition to shattering sales records, World of Warcraft also broke peak concurrency and account creation records for a MMORPG. Within the first day, over 200,000 players created World of Warcraft accounts. By 5:00 p.m. PST, over 100,000 were playing the game concurrently. These two record-breaking numbers made World of Warcraft the fastest-growing MMORPG in history. Within a single day, all original 40+ World of Warcraft servers were filled to capacity, and by the end of the Thanksgiving weekend, more than 40 additional servers were deployed to meet the rapidly growing player base, as the number of new accounts and concurrent users continued to grow.

With those numbers, I wouldn't be surprised if it hit over 1 million copies in the first day.

Lol. Putting a metallic object in a microwave wouldn't do jack shit in it, besides some small electrical sparking/arking across metallic parts that are close enough together, like balled up/wrinkled tin foil. Unless you pour enough black powder on tin foil or something, there's no way it would cause a microwave to explode.

I've seen a demostration when they tried to blow it up with metal, didn't blow up.

Well my grandfather, owner of the house, has homeowners insurance so the kitchen is covered. As for our products that were destroyed, were screwed.

And right now, the dryer doesn't work! Yay.

And to top all of it off, we have no food till thursday, nor money to buy any.

OLD Microwave. This thing was easily two foot, eight inches wide, and a foot and a half tall. It wasnt digital, either, to get set the time, you had to turn a dial. Not only that, but you had to set it to something over 30 seconds, then bring it back down to the time you wanted if you wanted below thirty seconds. And it was a Pot Pie, if that helps at all. Should have seen my mom. Hell, fuck that, my dad. Dear lord i couldnt sit down for a week after that.

Old, new, digital controls or a dial, it doesn't matter, they've always used the same kind of technology for the heating parts/magnetron/etc.

Simply putting metal in a microwave will not cause it to explode, the only thing it could do is cause a fire if it's attached to something flammable like paper and is heated enough.

I meant that in a relative sense. What i meant, was that i basically killed it. Alot.
