This isn't a nag Crimson, I'm just thrilled with these boards aswell, which is why I would like to know how the forum skinnig is going, maybe apoc could lend a hand? Jake?

You'd have to learn FUD Forums templating system -- it's quite complex... not an easy task.

I've got free time on my hands and plenty of ideas  Old forum template was cool as hell, but perhaps new forums could use a few new templates to choose from as well IE: Nod, GDI complete themes custum icons and all, Westwood Theme would be cool.
