correct, it is easy to detonate all mines just behind doors by standing behind the side bits at the doorways so they detonate and do hardly anything to you.
mining the MCT isn't a bad idea, but there are better ways to mine a building (like snake lines in positions your opponent will inevitably have to detonate or waste time disarming). as an opponent to proxies on the MCT, you can make sure you detonate a few by running forward then back...which will damage you some, but not fatally as mines do most damage when tripped on the floor.
then just using the de-mined part of the MCT to toss your C4s.

Well if people would take the iniciative you could not mine a building at all, just place a crapload of mines at the entrances to the base and no worries, but make sure there are a couple people replenishing those everytime they get blow. However you got vehicles to deal with, if you place the mines corectly it will be dameaged enough for you to destroy it before it gets to a building.

Don't put it on the MCT: no use. In most buildings u'll still be able to put c4 on it if u're careful. Also think of hand where u can drop c4 from above in the building
