So on City Flying tonight on some random server me and someone else had just gotte done w/a stealth tank rush to PP which failed Sad

For the second rush we were going to do APC+nuke(me) & stealth tank to wep. So I`m setting in Nod base waiting to rush (NOT on the air strip) when all of a sudden my screen `cycles` like I just joined the game. No boink - no vehicle explosion just 'Please wait' type of screen you get when U join a game. So I lost my APC, my char AND my nuke !! I've never had this happen before. Is there some way the host can do such a thing ?!? Like I said I wasnt on the air strip I was in front of air door right next to another tank (which didn't magicly pop). Anyways it totally pissed me off there goes 1500 credits.



ps. Lag wasnt bad.

I've had the same done to me a couple of times, especially on Mod Maps. Evil or Very Mad

OMFG

It happend again. I'm going to re-extract my always.dat file to try and fix this because this is BULLSHIT.

So I'm on Nod and the map is Mesa. I've got a few thousand credit & no one seems to want to rush so I get Tech, Nuke & stealth tank. I go the back way to wep -- peep around the corner everythings clear. Drive to back of wep while watching to see if neone spots me -- make it to the back there NP. Get out & mine the area up, drop 6proxy, 2timed c4 and then the Nuke. After I drop the Nuke my STank is like 1/3 damaged so I start repairing. Like two seconds later "Gameplay is pending". No shots fired, no explosions, no one in sight (I peeped it via the 'gameplay pending' cam) ...just dead. So now Nod has to deal w/a stank plus 1less in the vehic limit and the Nuke gets disarmed.
2250 credits = down the toilet

I haven't installed any mods (such as Tib Evo) just skins. I don't edit/open any of the Rene dat files & the only things both issues seem to have in common is :
1) I was Nod
2) I had a Nuke

Yep, it's happened to me too.

Can't remember which teams i've been as, but it's happened at least 10 times in the last year that i've been playing.

You'll be driving along perfectly with no lag and suddenly *poof* you're back at base infront of the spawn point PT's. No death animation, no enemy fire, nothing.

Mind you, this hasn't happened to me recently at all.

I've never had that happen to me while in nod base but EVERY time i'm in gdi base. (whether i'm gdi or nod) If I'm behind weaps (near that little corner) when someone buys a vehicle, I get killed. It doesn't matter whether I'm in or out of a vehicle. I dunno much about modding and things but I think maybe the Vehicle Creation Zone thingy may be coming out of the back of the building Sad. I learnt the hard way, always dying there. Sad Just keep clear of that area. WAY CLEAR. Sad

LOL Thanks a lot for the tip & your right on the money I was standing in 'that little corner' in the back of wep. I didnt pay attention to wether or not they had just made a vechic but it sounds plausible(sp?).
