Hey Everyone!

I'm just wondering, how many people go online to play renegade? Like how many users are online on any given day? Because i might buy the game, but then i'm not sure if the game is dying...like how nox did lol...

You may hear that Renegade is dying, but take it from me - it's far from it. The fans are supporting it even more so than EA is. I couldn't give you an average of people online, but it's quite a lot; it hardly decreases either, even with the release of Generals. You couldn't have picked a better time to get the game, now that it retails for about $20 and is still as fun as it was when it was first released. Possibly more fun when you consider what the future holds for it, what with Renegade Alert and Reborn... :bigups:

Yea, get the game. There are a lot of good servers to play on and like he said, the total conversion mods Renegade Alert and C&C Reborn are gonna kick some ass. Cool

Ja - get the game prices are low and there are plenty of players.
Much like RA2 -- came out ages ago but you can still find plenty of action online !

Total # of Renegade players on line per day ... If I were to take a very uneducated guess I'd say between 1,000 and 8,000. This is a very uneducated guesstimation(sp) and I'm sure someone else will have a better idea.

I will tell you flat out that SP has its issues. Multiplayer is this game. I have never been hooked on any game like I have on renegade. All the new mods are going to make it that much better. There are a hell of a lot more servers online than I thought there'd be at this time. I strongly suggest this game, the strategy is like none other, and the fun just keeps going.

Listern you just have to get renegade you will be amased at the online gameplay and when the new mods come out you will be like Shocked Shocked Shocked

They are going to be TC's, TOTAL CONVERSIONS one which is based on red alert vehicles and troops etc and another "warpath" which i am lucky enough to be beta testing is based on MOHAA and other war sort of games which will kick ass too.

At the moment there is also capture the flag Mods made (by dante) which are brilliant and other different modes which will be released soon such as cops and robbers, we also have deathmatches made like Temple_Dm.mix which is really good (see my sig to DL) and i think i heard sumone talking about team deathmatches even tho i am not sure how they will work.

there are about 1000 good players,5 good clans.NS,LT,DoA,Paw,and maybe aanother.Renagades FINAL Blow of death will be when planet side comes out and all the people in the good clans merge to it.

GOD DAMN...renegade is the best..i have brought 5 other online games since i got renegade..i have come back to renegade every time

but now due to my 56k..i have gotten bored with the lag..i wana play on big servers more action but the lag is killin me.....

unless you have a bb connection..you wont get a decent game

sum 12-16 players are quite good..but i prefer 32+

the game has an addiction..i dunno how....but you will like the way it plays Very Happy

and for the new low price...its a bargin Very Happy Very Happy

Isn't Plantside a pay to play game?
Those games won't ever be as successful as they would if they were may to buy. Pay to play is a good idea in some respects, but the fact that you usually need to have a credit card limits under 18's from playing.
