EA legal doesn't want the details released just yet. Once we can tell you something, we will.

I hope you are right... This game after all was no failure, people still play it. So there must be a market here. I can hope, can't I?

Okay, then go play Unreal 2003... Like everyone said would kill Renegade.

Wait, no, that was Soldier of Fortune 2.

Wait, no, that was Planetside.

Wait, no, that was Generals.

Wait, no that was...

It's still here. If you don't want to play, get the fuck out.

That thread was two years ago basically.

She meant Renguard and BHS...

No she didn't. She meant something entirely different, but it's not going to happen so you might as well forget about it.

No one? You must not have paid any attention at all, because I've seen loads of people say that every game released after Renegade would kill it.

Fact is, you don't speak for everyone, and your "Oh no I can't play ladder anymore so Renegade will die" is a rather pointless statement.

If you don't want to play it, then don't play and get the fuck out.

Hear that?

GET THE FUCK OUT.

Some people actually enjoy playing this game.

anyone see the irony here?

Oh really? I'm sure there's plenty of quotes where you weren't an ass which I could dig up from your forum. Remember the "You can swear without going overboard" rules you made up, but then subsequently changed within six months?

Oh, what about where you decide it's better to be nice than be an ass, except where I'm involved.

Bringing up year old quotes is supposed to prove what, now? That you believe we're all supposed to be static and hold the same beliefs as we did a year ago? Watch what you say, because someone over the Internet will tell you that you're taking away their freedom of speech by contradicting yourself! Laughing

If it was August 2003 it was probably RenGuard/BHS I was talking about... but I guess ACK remembers better than I do.

Apparently Red Alert 3 is in devel, but the main texture/skinner left or something like that to go to blizzard. So that could be good, but it wont be like renegade.

If it's an RTS game, it won't be good unless it's made by Westwood.

The only way it would be good was if was an FPS game like Renegade.

You can do better than that.

You can also do better than saying something without proving it. Come on msgtn00b, you're usually the first one to jump all over what someone's said before and try to make a nice analysis of it.

Oh wait, when it comes to you, it's a fallacy of logic! It's a whole new concept of analysis, msgtn00b is immune to being criticized for his viewpoints that contradict his views a year ago!
