Renegade freezes [message #143574]

A search turned up 0 for my problem so here goes.... When I close renegede in WOL or Gamespy the last window in the closing sequence it hangs up on. Resulting in a hard reboot and a disk check on power up. This doesn't happen when I run renegade without renguard running.
Corrective actions I have taken.. Reinstalled Renegade and Renguard. Reinstalled the corepatch as well. Slapped the tower. Kicked the tower. Yanked the chord out of the wall while the computer was running to teach it a lesson. And still it mocks me.....

That happens sometimes, if you are running the latest version of Renguard hit your "F8" key when done playing and then type exit and it will close the game and not hang.
