you shouldn't design a website according to how it looks in one browser. Its really important when you are trying to run a business to make everything the right way. I would suggest to tell him to fix the code up.

Day by day more and more people are abandoning IE6 and moving to either Opera or Firefox

Exactly after 99 days of Firefox's release there were 25 million downloads.
Currently up to date there is nearly 27 Million.

But, I can tell you that Microsoft are currently developing IE7 which might be released before Windows Longhorn (2006). So Microsoft may once again dominate the market and steal other developers idea's... Confused

But before releasing a website for the public you must have it tested on other browsers and fix all bugs as it will just deter vistors away.

Andy.

Just wondering:

The attribute given above is required for an element that you've used, but you have omitted it. For instance, in most HTML and XHTML document [...] the "alt" attribute is required for the "img" element.

Anyone can redirect me to a browser that don't display images when the ALT is missing? Confused

I know its for Textonly browsers, or if you turn off images as an 'alternative description of the images' but in most cases (like for side menues, icons, viewing pleasure objects only) its complete useless...

image folder gets screwed up and your page doesn't look as messed up.
blind kids - the software will read off the alt tags.
