It's no big secret that I don't like Tony Blair, but ignoring all the claptrap about handwriting tests at the bottom of the article [because they aren't relevent to my point], it was an incredibly bright idea.

Someone, whether TB or BG or some #10 lacky left a big pad of doodles supposedly by Blair.

The Tabloids had a feeding frenzy.

Some said he had a death wish, some said he wasn't capable of doing his job, and If I remember reading it correctly, one said he was thinking of quitting the party altogether... I think that was in the Telegraph, though don't quote me.

And then, when I picked up some of the morning papers in the library yesterday, the amount of backtracking the Tabloids did rivalled Tony Blair changing his stance over WMDs Laughing

Just goes to show the lesson of the times.

Wait until you get the right intelligence before you jump to conclusions.

Could this have been falsified? Possibly to stir up controversy before the elections?

Just a thought.

I don't think that there is much doubt that this WAS a PR stunt by No 10 to get something going, to be honest. It just reeks of "We finally got one up on the tabloids".

The paper is real, the doodles are real, as said a very smug Tony Blair t'other day.

If that is the handwriting analysis done on his scribbles it has since be revealed that those were Bill Gates' scribbles not Tony Blair's

Experts said some doodles revealed lots about Tony Blair - until it was discovered they were drawn by Bill Gates. So how seriously should we take the study of handwriting?

Did you even bother to read the first paragraph in bold?
