Givin his position in the world, it WAS a poor choice of a costume. (Like it or not, when you're in the line for the throne of a country, there is a certain way you MUST act). However, I do agree. People seem to be blowing this way beyond anything resembling proportion.

I find the British Tabloid Press amusing at best, godawful at worst. This is a case of godawful.

An editor of another downmarket rag, let's call it the Daily Express, did worse than wear an armband. He shouted at his German financers that they were "all fucking nazis" and that they should "go back to the mothercountry and go kill some more Jews". He then did an apparently loving version of Deutchland Uber Alles while doing the John Cleese Fawlty Towers walk around the office.

But I guess you won't have heard about that, knowing the Tabloid press :rolleyes:

Harry has done nothing wrong there, it's just The Sun and its ever increasing need to get more people to read it.

He didn't just wear a costume. He went to a costume party in a god damn nazi uniforme , thats wrong and ill minded enough already, but it gets better. HE'S THE THIRD IN LINE TO THE THRONE as you all know, so lets think here for a minute but don't you guys think to hard don't want any blood comin out your nose or anything.

In this case he is right though (wow, did I just say cowmisfit was right about something?). Public figures are heald to a different standard than the rest of the universe. The Clinton impeachment is one example, this is another, and I'm sure if Bush was caught wearing a turban, people would make similar comments as well. Different people, different standards. For better or for worse, thats the life of a public figure. (I wonder what would happen if Bill Gates was caught using somthing OTHER than a windows OS on his computer).
