I'd like to know if Brenbot works wiv FDS...
While trying to make bot work - I encountered few thingies.
Nuttin wrong wiv connecting or such (I followed zunnie's guide) He connects normal server starts up, everything seems normal but when in game bot doesn;t listen to any of my commands n it does on IRC, I think it's this :
When I ask him to show playerlist it says "no players" but there are Question

I try kicking some1 over IRC n it says player is not in playerlist...
FDS commands do work though, hope any1 of you can help me out Sad

The most likely cause for this to happen is when the path to the fds
logfiles is not set right in brenbot.cfg

FDSConfigFile = C:\Westwood\YourFDS\Server\Data\svrcfg_cnc.ini
FDSLogFilePath = C:\Westwood\YourFDS\Server\

Make sure these paths are set correct for your FDS. And note that you
should end the LogFilePath with an \ at the end of the line.

Im getting the same problem.

[7:12pm] <@GW-BOT> Player ackersgw joined the game

[7:16pm] <@GW-BOT> Gameinfo: (WOL) Map: C&C_Mesa.mix GDI: 0/32 players  0 points NOD: 1/32 players  0 points 2.00.00 mins left SFPS: 60

[7:16pm] <@GW-BOT> No Players

Also when i type !help from ingame the bot doesnt reply (because it sees me as not ingame tho probably.)

Ive made sure my fds config is set up correctly in the brenbot.cfg file, but still receive the same problem.

Also when starting up brenbot i receive this error -

Activating half-RenGuard mode!
Could not load ssc_ignore.txt - No users are being ignored by RenGuard! (No such file or directory)
Got serverlist..
server: error 11004 creating socket: Unknown error
IRC Initialization...joining irc.n00bstories.com:6667
my nick is GW-BOT

I have read the other post's on this error and they do not have any effect on my problem. Help with either of these is much appreciated.

Nope - I checked it N even replaced it but it still shows the same error
Although I noticed a difference - wiv zunnie's Tuturial, I think it shows bot auto-opped at IRC (last 3 lines of example) but it isn;t auto-opped maybe that's the problem?

Hm.. i remember brenbot having problems with "Spaces" in directory
names.
This is not the case or is it?

eg: where is the fds on the drive?

example:
Should work:
C:\Westwood\RenegadeFDS\
C:\RenFDS\
D:\FDS\
etc.etc.

Will Not Work:
C:\Program Files\Westwood\RenegadeFDS\
C:\Server Files\Westwood\RenegadeFDS\
E:\Programs And Stuff\Westwood\RenegadeFDS\

These are the directories there located - So there don't seem to be any error in that..
Could it be a problem wiv RenRem and could it be the reason the bot and the server aren't connected?
