After having played many games on large servers (some using half-RG and others not using it at all) only to see cheaters run rampant while the innocent are kicked, I have decided to create this short video to help educate moderators.
It seems many moderators do not know what to look for in a cheater and/or often base their banning decisions off of popular opinion, which is often completely wrong.
The video shows the most common cheat being used in large servers today. I found it at an undisclosed website. It has since been deleted from my hard drive.
Keep in mind I have never cheated previous to this occasion (except for immediately before downloading the hack in a private server to test its functionality etc.) and the only reason I used it in the first place was to create this video, with the purpose of educating other legitimate Renegade players and moderators.
I am using a new nickname to keep my identity secret (though an admin could easily match my ip with my usual sn, it is my hope they will understand my intention and not take action against me).

Note: Please feel free to post this video on server forums (Pits, St0rm, non00bs, etc.) for moderators and players to see. The more people know about cheating the easier it is to stop it.

This is why I only play in RG servers.
It really sucks to be almost in the enemies base as an SBH nuker only to be killed instantly by someone on the other side of the base while still fully cloaked.
Half-mode RG works nice, as you can just !forcerg them off. (doesn't bring back that $1400 you just lost though)

one thing i would like to know.. you used the laser rifle to kill those men.. what did IRC report this as?
as normal rifle kill or SBH laser weapon kill ?
i have never check this.. but just an idea that poped into my head
|

If youve used cheats online, even for 'educational' purposes then your not worth playing with and are no better than people that cheat for fun. The game that you were playing in that video was ruined because of your cheating, even if you were recording it as something to show people who dont cheat see what to look out for.

I have no sympathy for anyone who get's !forcerg'ed. They should be running it anyway. Regardless of how inaffective Half-Renguard mode is overall, it IS bringing more and more people onto Renguard and we have the highest traffic levels we've ever seen.

And idiots like you were the same people that screamed "YOU CAN'T CHEAT IN RENEGADE," causing WSE to release cheats just to prove you wrong and piss off a lot of people.
If you have to gain knowledge at the expense of "ruining" a single game, BOO HOO, GET THE FUCK OVER IT.

Exactly, and in reference to pendellum, there is cheaters right now on renegade, by him making this video it should hopefully educate those mods that don't know about anything other than BH.
