when i play multiplayer lan it says no lan ip addresses found Evil or Very Mad :twisted: Evil or Very Mad :twisted:

START > SETTING > CONTROL PANEL >ADD NEW HARDWARE > NEXT > ALREADY CONNECTED > ADD NEW HARDWARE DIVICE > CHOOSE FROM LIST > NETWORK ADAPTER > MICROSOFT LOOPBACK ADAPTER

This will create a virtual network adapter in windows XP so you can use LAN mode.

thnx , but when it loaad it says renegade game pending or something like that when the game lan loads what does this mean we wait for it?

To get rid of gameplay pending make sure you dont have dedicated server on and set the number of players to 1 if you are playing by yourself.

Unless you have someone networked with you you cant join other games on lan. And if you want to fight AI bots get a AI map from dante

There are only certain maps that include bots...

The only default maps you have with bots are tp missions and the skirmish level...

So unless you are playing one of those or playing a mod map you downloaded you will have no AI...

Ask if you would like a link to some AI maps to download....

If you have another user on the network set the game to 2 players so he/she can join...

To join other games you must either have another game running on the LAN connection or be on the multiplayer service.

EDIT: Just a note AI does not take up player slots likke in previious CNC's you can hav as many bots as you want without having to increase th number of players

As I said AI requires no extra spaces...

Just set players to 1 and slect a AI map.
