i get this ALOT of the time when i join n00bservs

Have you nickname protected your nick in the br bot?
If so you need to /msg BOTNAME auth PASSWORD

ok let me explain it to you becuase you obviously never read the log

i join the game.. i'm in for 10 SECONDS!
i get kicked
then 9 seconds later im told i have 60 SECONDS to auth my name..
but by the time that message appear i am already kicked out of the server

There is an option in RenGuard options which says "Password" , enter your password here and you'll be auto-authed when you join the server (if its a RG server that is)

I thought mac fixed this in the new brenbot versions, but some members
from my clan have problems too with this stuff (and they have the correct
password in renguard).

When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter then "Yes"

if you:

- join the game
- dont authenticate
- leave the game

the 'protected nick-timer' will continue to run for some reason and expire after ~60 seconds so when you rejoin after a few minutes:

- you dont get a message the nick is protected so you know when to auth
- you will be kicked instantly (some error i guess)

the only way to prevent this is by setting the password in RG options.
which when this fails though (not often happening for me that is, i got zero,one% problems with it - ever) you need to manually !auth yourself...

Just stay on irc too to allow yourself Razz
