You'd play an electric drumset exactly how you'd play an acoustic. Some of the crappy ones are rubber coated, so when you're doing rudiments (such as a roll) on the snare pad, you get nasty kickback, moreso than with an acoustic head. This leads to wrist injuries - unfun. God sets have mesh heads that are similar to acoustic heads. The benefit of an electric set is the wide array of sounds you have at your disposal, and the silence. For example, I could play an entire orchestra's percussion group, say, 8 people, on that one set, just by setting up all but one drum to play certain instruments, and the remaining drum would be used to switch "kits" so different sounds can be programmed for a single pad.

Kind of confusing, yep.

Pretty much it's a programmable drum.

Still, no picture...

*Ressurects thread*

Sorry for the DP, but I noticed Crimson and Blazer have never posted pictures (to my knowledge)

Eh?
