A "Residential" customer getting extended speeds who consumes 330 MB during a two hour period will automatically change provisioning to Standard Speeds for a period of at least one hour or until measured consumption drops below threshold


Thanks to this I get around 30 KB/s when downloading. These idiots assume everyone downloading large files are warez monkeys...

I can't wait to get my DSL reintalled.

GOD KNOWS, why comcast caps its upload. I am trying to find a uncapper, if someone can help me that would be great. Also, my max download from comcast is only 500 kb/s but for my bro in lansing it is 5 mb a second wtf is up with that.

Wow, people complain they "only" get to download with 500kb/sec :rolleyes:

I'm on 512/256, which translates to 50kb/sec down and 20kb/sec up...it's not that bad really.

I have, Adelphia Power Link with a Motorola SURFboard. I average about 4.6mb to 5.0mb downloads, and about 900kb to 1.0mb uploads. I love the bandwidth here in WV, but that's about it.

Cox is nice, my friend has it and it's pretty similar to Comcast. I have Comcast, and it owns in every way except upload. I'm at 3mb down and 256k up, with a 200k - 400k/sec download rate. I don't know how fast I can upload, but I can host 8 players on Renegade just fine.

Comcast used to be at 1mb, but they upgraded to 3mb just before I ordered it. Smile
