Hi there. Crimson told me to post this here so I am =).

GameSpy's TA clan would like to challenge the staff here at n00bstories to a clan match. In the recent past many clans have not been showing up for matches ;(. So the TA clan needs some new opponents. I was just wondering what you guys thought, if you were up to it or not? It would just be for fun. I dont know how many n00bstories is capable of getting on at one time, so name how many you think would be able to play for you guys.

Currently, DaveGMM is on vaction for a week, and hence we would lose a key member of the staff. If you want this match, it would have to wait at LEAST 1 week.

I personally don't mind a game, I haven't played a 'big game' in while, but if you guys can set it up, I'm all for it.

Def not within the next week. I cant remember the last time we made a match and it was played within a week of the time we made it. We are pretty flexible as to times because we have more members than you. We were hoping to get an 8v8 with you guys. I know you only have 8 members so less will do. We hope we dont have to go under 6.

As for maps, you can pick one, we can pick one, then you. etc etc. The server picks the teams. We can host this on our server *[TA] Banshee*. Ive noticed most of you guys play on WOL, we do not have WOL. If you guys could come to GSA it would be very helpful. If not im sure we can figure something out.

I hope this gives you some more helpful information, and I hope we can get a match with you guys.

No, of course we don't play clan games. Do you know how entertaining it is to the whole clan when people get so pissed off after they have been removed from our server, demand a clan match for soem stupid reason, and don't get their wish?

Personally, I don't care much for the "drive-c4-boom" tactics played in clanmatches, or even AOW. I play to snipe, I do that well, and I'll continue to do so.

I play to snipe, I do that well, and I'll continue to do so.


Precisely the reason I don't join any clans, nor has anyone offered me a position in a clan - because I too play to snipe, and that's about all. You'll rarely see me in a tank at the front line of the enemy base pounding a structure that's under heavy repair and thus is impossible to destroy, or in simpler terms, pointwh0ring.

Well clan games= teamwork, if your a solo player dont even bother. Java, there is such thing as a sniping clan you know Wink

The few times I've been on Java's team, his sniping really helped. If a sniper goes for a key engineer or two instead of picking off n00bs, that helps a lot. No engis = no sustained tank formations, right?
