Why did you put the wheel skin in there...

It really screws up both the skins. When you make a skin contest you should make sure that there is ONLY the skin you try to show on the screen.(Mayby try w3dviewer?)

Though it is a good idea a skincontest continue it and improve the idea Smile

I do not consider myself to have the artistic talents needed to make the skins i expect to be released but then again i have never tried..

If you have no skinning/texturing experience, nor any Photoshop experience. I think it's rather rude to insist there should be better skins released. Maybe on the next competition, you should try and produce an entry. Just to see how easy it is to release a "realistic looking skin" On a 512x512 canvas, then projecting in game on 1680x1050 res screen, and not to mentioned stretched out across a very low poly count model.

Why is that to the text in bold? I think JsxKeule would like to keep this unbiased and not have people voting for others just because they're friends. To the poll, I think the woodland APC is much better looking than the blue APC.

That's the exact reason. It's now been mentioned twice in this topic and a few times in the topic in the mod forum.

Don't know why some people can't understand it. Names are revealed when the contest voting phase finishes.

and why you need a name to vote?
an example

when there are 2 possibilities between mammy skins

1 is just from a unknown guy but what is really good
and the other is from your friend but not so good

for what would you vote??

And as sure as you all can tell, I put about 5 minutes into it, tops. If I enter the next one I'll work a lot harder.

How about you make a contest that anyone can enter by making 'their favorite skin'. Since now you are setting a strict theme again. (Char skins are harder then vehicles to get something serious out of in my opinion)

I would say get people to compete first. So try to get more than 2 entrys. I can understand you want a strict theme but you should first the contest of the ground.
