Yeah, I have a stick of 512MB SDRAM, not sure if it works... :s

On topic, if his memory is dead, then the BIOS should load and beep at you. I am looking at his motherboard here, I think it's DOA.

I'm siding with the "you need another PSU" crowd. I had these same symptoms once and it turned out I simply did not have enough power for all of my components.

If he did what I asked which was to take out everything except for the Video card, cpu and ram and it still doesn't boot then its not the PSU.

I told evga my symptoms and thwey said I had a defective motherboard. I'm submitting an RMA now.

If it still doesn't work after receiving a new one, it's likely to be the powersupply. Dual it or something in that case.

I don't think that's a PSU issue, if it wasn't getting enough power it would just run in "low-power" mode. I would check out what those lights on the mobo actually mean.

However I'd still get another PSU anyway, regardless of whether it's causing that particular problem or not. Low power can cause all kinds of funky shit to happen. The PSU is one thing you absolutely do not try to be scrimp on.
