256kbits DSL? Would suck me....

I have the absolutely Minimum System for Renegade when I think of the CPU-eating extras brought by vloktboky & BHS Very Happy . Don´t come over 20 FPS on Fanmaps Ultra-AOW....

AthlonXP 2200+ (Thoroughbred) 133Mhz FSB
Kingston DDR 400 (though the Board supports only 266) RAM 1GB
ASUS video card with NVIDIA GeForce FX5700 chip (not LE!) 256MB VideoRAM
Samsung Spinpoint blabla 55GB (formatted) 7200 RPM HDD
Optical mouse with Speedpad
Onboard LAN , Router and DSL with 3,5Mbits down and 192Kbits up

With a P4 @2,8Ghz I would buy a 6600GT or higher...

Msgtpain, this is only a internal Windows limit. Use Partition Magic and you can use FAT32 on a 500GB Maxtor IE......

That's nice to know.. but I don't think they can use partition magic while they're at the XP blue install screen. They said they didn't get the FAT32 "option" when they were installing windows.. the limit is why.

msgtpain:

Install Windows on the new created partition C using FAT32 (has to be under 30-32GB) and leave the rest from the HDD unformatted/unpartitioned. When Windows has finished setup, install Partition Magic and create new partitions. Set the new settings, reboot and it should work fine...
