I think it would be best if you just try to ignore threads about Reborn models, at least on this forum. It just stirs up problems, and no one really finds it helpful. Thats all from me for tonight.

I just want people to stop flaming Reborn. I'm trying to stay independent here. I am trying to get you to stop being an asshole to the Reborn team. Everything that the Reborn team posts, you think that it is 'crap' or 'shit' or 'looks like concrete'. If Reborn has lost their chance for you giving them constructful critisism, calling their models 'shit' or saying that it 'looks like concrete' doesn't help anybody.

Too much artistic "liberty", not enough Tiberian Sun. Like always with Reborn.

Let me count the artistic liberty in RenAlert...
1. There is an actual model of the light tank in the 2nd or 3rd Allied briefing movie (top right corner). This model does not look like the model in game.
2. Snipers were originally not in the game, however they are on both sides in Renegade Alert. (Yes, I do know that there is a sniper weapon in the rules.ini)
3. Volkov has an anti-tank gun.
The point is, you're allowed to make the mod how you want it. Reborn has the right to make it how they want to make it. That is their desicion. You might disagree with it, but that doesn't make it wrong.

If you want them to stop attacking Reborn, why don't you actually go for the source of the problem? You sound like a Democrat, ignoring the real problem while putting the blame on everyone but who deserves it.
If I steal from someone, and lie to them about it - punching me would be a logical course of action for that person. Yet, you would blame the person who retaliated instead me, because I caused the entire situation.
That's faulty logic. You encourage Reborn to continue making crap, because as long as they do someone will bash it and you'll be right there to try and defend their crappy work, instead of asking for it to be made better.

Take a screenshot and show it, I've never seen the Light Tank in any mission video except for the second Soviet "Try to steal the Chronosphere" video. In that, it was a M-60 Patton battle tank.
Snipers are a logical addition to any army in reality, and we added them because they did appear in Red Alert and are a necessary addition for anti-infantry duties. It appeals to a wider crowd, makes soldiers less dominating against vehicles, and also keeps it true to the original game.
Volkov had several different weapons, including a silenced sniper rifle, silenced pistol, and a silenced cannon that fired high explosive rounds which decimated everything. This was all in Red Alert. What's your point?
Now, for the rest of your gibberish... The reason I say their work is bad just might be because it's bad. Why is that so hard to understand? Making work does not automatically grant it "OMG TAHTS TEH GOOD STUFFZ" remarks. Another fallacy of logic you keep practicing.
I look at myself from several different points of view. This is why I insist on the highest quality possible while trying to please the fanbase and stay true to Red Alert at the same time. I have been through the "omg ranalart suxxxxxx" bullshit enough with our first two releases and resolved to make them surpass anything for this game that will ever come out.
If Reborn can't do that, then that's their own problem.

That is from the second Allied mission. You don't get Medium Tanks until about the 6th mission.

Is it not a fact that my opinion of Reborn exists, and as such, it paints Reborn in a bad light (not that they haven't helped this a LOT) too? Find out the definition of words before you argue about them, please.
