Weezer is pretty good.
I never complain much about music because I always stick with the local bands and indie rock bands. Except, I don't like the new Modest Mouse album (a local band where I live), it's too commercialized. I don't listen to the new album MOSTLY because it sounds different. It is "poppy" compared to the rest. I'm not saying I don't like the album just because it sounds different, I'm saying it feels commercialized and it doesn't seem like the band I like at all.
For example, try comparing the song Ugly Casanova - Diamonds on the Face of Evil to Modest Mouse - Float on. Ugly Casanova is this one thing Modest Mouse did by inspiration from someone who called himself Ugly Casanova.
It's a big difference if you did compare them, and it shows that my point is very close to j_ball's.
