Im getting a CRC Mismatch Error when I run the game and when I run the Game it says it was installed wrong. WTF

We had a previous user with a virus that was infecting his .EXE files... I don't like to tell people it might be a virus... but...

Also, have you tried the safe installer? There's a thread at the top (sticky) with the link.

Try reinstalling the game completely from scratch. Delete all renegade files and delete the Westwood\Renegade key in the registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Westwood\Renegade)

Then read this:

If you still get a CRC problem, it MAYBE because yur installation CD's are 'scratched' and possible read wrong while copying it to your harddrive.
Or maybe your memory modules are bad, no clue.
