Kk i think lots of you might reconize me, i used to be Bobodude that huge noob. Now i am vicson88 and would like to share this with you. Their okay, I remember that grid effect, kinda over used and it's too solid, like you can't see through the lines, it looks like you went into paint with the picture and used lines. Your getting better, but I'm pretty sure I could make those with GIMP. Anyone know where to get some filters or plug-ins for it?

The site is shit, and his talent is not that much improved. I agree that I find a couple decent, but the other ones are just downright laughable. If he wants to start up a graphics site/forum he needs to learn and actually make it so that people are interested in seeing his work. I can tell you right now I'm not in the least bit intrigued. He needs to show me something that makes me want to see more. I have yet to see it, and I feel that I won't see one for a while. Until then, I'm content with running my graphics community.
I'm not trying to portray a holier-than-thou attitude. I wasn't good at the beginning, but I didn't go off and say that my work was anything better than newbish. If he wants to show off his improving work, that's one thing, but trying to start a graphics community on his little skills is stupid and bound to get him laughed at.

Oh and one more thing, a "vortex effect" really isn't hard, get and image, filter>distort>twirl then rotate it for each frame, peice of piss.
