You know ill give you this much ive never realy payed attention to weather timed use up the limit or not .
Also yes we have had problems with people comeing in with w regular soldier and killing everyone and everything with a single shot and geting a few thousand points. That being said i dont know if renguard was working properly at the time or not but then thats why you still have mods.

timed c4 does not affect the proxy/remote limit

all c4 does as far as i know

You know, you could easily create a 1 player game and throw thirty C4 explosives onto the ground, then toss a few timed and watch to see if your C4 disarms its-self. But to save you the trouble, no, they don't take from the remote/prox limit
