MexPirate - there's a line in a "song" by blink 182 called Fuck a Dog that says "it's a mexican pirate" and it was playing when I set up my first email address and was trying to think of a nickname.

What about you?

My name is from The Fairly Odd Parents. There's an episode where Vicky brings her dog to Timmy's house while she is baby sitting. His name was Doidle. I was like oh wow that is an awesome name. I took some licence with the spelling however because I felt this way looked cooler.

My first nickname was Go-Stuff. It was back in the days of Internet bubble companies and I was 14. My friends and I started a website called Games Obsession. GO = Games Obsession but also the first two letters of my last name. Stuff was added to make it more Internet-like'ish Razz.

With Red Alert, I played with Go-Stuff as allies and searched a more Soviet sounding variant, which became Goztow. This became Gozy later on (shorter). For info: my Yuri-nickname in RA2 was Gouzy (love it still! Razz).

My nickname on Ren is Bl4ckDmon,

I'll brake it down for ya'. Razz

Bl4ck - Black was taken.. :\ So a buddy suggested replacing a with 4, The Bl4ck also means evil.. someone who studies the dark arts, You know the way people use Black for "Black comedy's" or "black rose" I used Black for evil-ness. Razz

Dmon - It's demon shortened.. I'm a evil demon!

Damn 9 letters only for your nicks. Sad

But don't worry - I'm not some devil loving crazy person. Razz

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

You not the only one with a wiki AmunRa.

Below is mine.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Warriors In Love

I take my name from them.

You see me in game as IWarriors, which was my first gaming name and always will be, its cut short due to RA2 only allowing 9 letters. :/

My online name (for everything!) is Starbuzz.

It all happened with the remake of Battlestar Galactica back in 2003. I instanly liked the super-ace Viper pilot Kara Thrace...her callsign was Starbuck.

Read more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kara_Thrace

I really liked that callsign but was not satisfied with the "buck" part. So, I kept thinking very hard of an alternative until "buzz" came into my mind. And I thought "Starbuzz" sounded pretty terrific! The name stuck for good.

"BuzzOfTheStar" is just the name I registered here with and as you can see, it's a rip-off from "Starbuzz."

There was this one day when I was 15 and I was down the square with my brother and my mates and being young and whatnot I insisted on having longish hair, on that particual day I was having a bad hair day and all my friends just called me Capt. Caveman, ever since then thats who im known as.

Even now after 5 years im still called Cave by my friends in real life.

I was 13 and staring at a BBS "Select a nickname" prompt that I had just dialed up to for the first time on my 2400 baud modem on our brand new 286 computer. (Well, new to us)

From the deep recesses of nothingness, I thought of the word "Magenta". It was taken. So the next word that came to mind is "Crimson". It wasn't taken and was therefore mine. It's worked well since it starts out with a "CR" sound which is the same as my first name starts out.

I'm the bawss.

Jecht-

Before I started playing Guild Wars I was playing Final Fantasy 10 and named my main character Scye instead of the default "Tidus." Since my favorite Blitzball move in that game was the "Jecht Shot", named after his cocky father, When the Guild Wars setup prompted me for a name I entered in "Jecht Scye." Been known on that game as Jecht ever since.

This was my wind-up handle on the CB-Radio many many moons ago.

I always told people that it came about from splashing in puddles with my wellie boots when I went fishing. Blush

My name comes from playing CS:S. A couple online buddies created this "Cheese Cult", and you had to put cheese in front of your name. Everybody had normal names like "Cheese Slice" and "Cheese Whiz", so I decided to create a unique one. Obviously, the result of that was "Cheese Soda", and I've combined the two words into one.

whoa.

My name isn't very original. Blush I first used it on the C&C Ammo forums and couldn't think of anything better when registering here. I chose M1A1 Abrams because that's what the GDI Medium Tank is according the manual for C&C DOS.

On the Ammo forums I once used an avatar of a nice looking M1A2, thinking nobody would be able to tell the difference... but of course Aircraftkiller immediately drew attention to it while he was trolling the Reborn forums. Not terribly interesting as anecdotes go, but better than nothing?

Mine came from Renegade, my first internet game. I tried to create an account as Sn1per7, but it was taken. So I took Sn1per71, which I later lost the password for. Then I made a new one as Sn1per74- which is now my screen name for every game.

On a side note- I think I have Sn1per71-79 registered on Renegade XD.

I got my name from the Turok series, the above clip is related to why I chose the name but its not the exact moment that I decided on it.

Then of course came Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion.
