Long time no see man! I still remember your promise to be the last player standing, and faithfully keep game-maps updated! What happened!!! Razz

Nice to see you still around Reborn! How are you, what you up too these days and play? Big Grin

Oh god, I think I remember that promise! I have said the same thing about playing Planetside 2! Blush

Ah Game-Maps, too much for one man with little skills, but thankful Zunnie and Alex took it over and it still lives on in a other form from what I saw.

Unfortunately it's a pretty rubbish time for my family at the moment. My Three year old was diagnosed with Leaukemia at the end of April, and while he was vunerable he contracted a horrible fungal infection; It spread to his liver, kidneys, chest, spleen and then penetrated the blood/brain barrier and wasn't responding to treatment, spreading further throughout his brain, causing clots and bleeding.
Luckily, with increased doses and another anti-fungal designed to help push the other anti-fungals through the blood/brain barrier, he is slowly getting better, although they anticipate it will be another 9 months before the infection has cleared, and may well never be totally gone.
It's horrible because the fungal infection is more urgent and dangerous than the leaukemia, and they have to risk balance which drugs to give him, too little of one could cause either the fungal infection or the leaukemia a chance to come out of remission.
It was a horrible time (and still is), with over four months spent in a tiny hospital room. He lost the use of his legs right at the start, and we are trying to get him walking again now we're finally home.
He still has daily hospital visits and we only came home last night from a week back in hospital after he got a tiny temperature.
It's a dreadful time to be totally honest, and has deeply affected his older sister, too. She's only Six, and had to live with my parents for a long time, the emotional impact is not insignificant.
However, today is a good day, we're home from hospital and all together.

I did have a bouncy castle business, it was doing well, with staff and massive margins, three years established and making great money. Sadly, that had to go as we simply couldn't cope running the bsuiness from bedside, and staff handed their notice in a week after diagnosis, meaning we had no one we could turn to to at least let it tick over.
We've re-invested the money from the sale (which was very under-valued due to the circumstances) into a business to business company, producing and manufacturing into the same industry, and are trying to get that off the ground. It allows much greater lead times, and hopefully we've found a bit of a niche. It's a risk though, and the previous business was established and proven, with better margins; We just can't be reliable, and the longer lead times make this a far better option.

Gaming wise, I can really only be mobile. I play Marvel Contest of Champions, and pretty into it.

I've never tried that game, but hear it's fun. Time at a desktop PC is sparce though, and when I do have time I should be working. My company have been really good and understanding, but I've had a tremendous amount of time off, and it seems inevitable that they will make me redundant.

Game-maps was a great site for Renegade at the time. A really nice one-stop resource for everything you needed. Sure it wasn't perfect, but it was a great hub and you did a good job! Smile

From what I see, Zunnie is still active around Renegade, you could probably pm him through here to contact him. Smile
