Apparently I heard that people have these programs called virus checkers installed on there computers. Also the map would have to be in a self extracting exe file to cause any immediate harm. The chances of a mix file being infected and the virus actually being executed by ren solely from the mix file is slim.
Unless people are that dumb to open files called readme.exe then you should be pretty safe. Normally viruses have to actually be executed to actuallt cause harm to anything, sitting inside a mix file isn't going to acheive much.
