SDRAM blows. As far as I know, it was one of the first ram modules made.

DDR is right in the middle of SDRAM and DDR2.

DDR2 is the best type of ram out there right now.

RAM is more important then the CPU in the long run, so if you want to invest in a fast computer, invest $300+ in 2GB of DDR2.

completly wrong. well...some of it.

SDRAM wasn't the first made as i have seen an older computer with 32Mb moduals for ram (is wasn't SDRAM, but it was old).

no need to spend so much on RAM, why?!?
you get the fastest RAM and about 1Gb max! also try to use lower modules as this make things fast like: 3 256DDR2.

you need to reasearch as well...there are diffrent speed of ram so big companys can use lowers and spend very little on it: EG;

my computer uses DDR ram, i have 3 sticks of DDR400 (PC2700) 512Mb. i have not seen one computer from "PC World" or "Dell" that have anything near this.

open up task maneger and you can see how much ram each program is using, add this up and you will see why most of it is wasted.
