Non dedicated servers and renegade clients are still volnurable to the attack.

If you are getting hit with UDP floods then install flood protection, these patches fix the problem of where a single packet can crash the FDS when it recives a UDP packet less then 4 bytes.

I don't think it effects gameplay because my servers are running fine. As always use at your own risk, if it messes up yoru fds then too bad.

Cirmson said she would be using it to protect her servers.

This fix also takes into account the BHS patch, however that patch did not offer complete protection.

This patch does not protect against the UDP FLOOD
