I've seen it yesterday, which was the release day, it has all the ingredients for a great movie, you'll even find yourself amused sometimes.

I will not give you any spoilers, I will just encourage you to go see it.

(PS: Stay in the theatre to read the credits!)

Hmmmm.......

I thought it was just a cheesy action movie with a very poor story.

I guess i'll take a closer look then.

It's an awsome storyline, and great movie all together. Even though the accelerated events are unlikely, the problems created by the event that take place are based in truth.

Sure, the action is taking a big place in the movie, but you couldn't compare it with the miserable failure that was Matrix: Revolutions.

LOL call me a sick mother fucker but I found that movie hillarius. I think the things in that movie will take place in real life sometime, everything points to it, but whats funny about the movie is how stupid some (if not most of us) are.

PS: Yo Aprime can you also send me a PM of what's in the credits, I left the theater as soon as the movie ended Sad

I just got back from seeing that movie. It's not bad, some parts were cheesey but other than that, it was okay. I cracked up with the whole "Traffic is now flowing smoothly into Mexico, the Vice President struck a deal with Mexico, that will relieve all Latin American debts." And when Sam's friend says "Hey guys! We have a whole section on Tax Law books down here that can be burned!".

Not the bad.

I saw it today also. My and my friends did laugh the whole way though. I still do not know how the Sahara Desert froze.

I'm convinced Michael Moore made the movie.

My and my firends? Razz

It's all about the temperature regulation. The only reason the southern zone of the northern hemishpere was saved was because the temperature fluxuations were minimized because of the sun, and probably the oceans current was relatively maintained around that area (hence why the southern hemisphere wasn't touched -the currents weren't affected.)

Why do you always expect something when someone tells you to stay for the credits?

It's just a damn sign of respect!

Plus you could see on what book the movie was based on, incase you'd like to read it.

One thing that really didn't need to be in the film were those russian wolves. I'm in the understanding that they were either a pointless stab at adding more CGI into the film or they wanted to add how it would indirectly effect animals/nature. They could've at least made them run more realistically. The attack dogs from Red Alert ran better ffs.

 Razz

If the director was there in the theatre, sure i'd stay for the credits and pay my respects if i enjoyed it, but he's over a thousand miles away swimming in money, no doubt.

Lol, so true.

By the way, if you stay after the credits you'll be able to tell on what book the movie was based on, so if you're a reader, or like to spend some of your free time reading a book like I do, you can try to find it and buy it. Smile
