Ok, so I'm at the final mission in the room where a seemingly endless storm of Helghast keep coming at me. Any tips on getting past this quicker so I can just blow the boss's head off?

I know it has been long time since you posted this thread so you probably finished that part by now, but still...
Once you get on the balcony stay all the way back, and if they take cover, just flank them from either side or go to the stairs and flank them from there.
Before the third wave arrives (you will know it when you see it), get flame thrower and go to any of the stairs. After that, get sniper and kill all 4 RPG guys as fast as you can (ignore others, luckily the won't come after you).
