One problem i keep having with game-maps.com is that i download something, and when I install, it dosent work. I dont see anything after I install it.

My data folder. Either way, i check all renegade folders and never find them.

[I just found another folder that had everything, but wasent in my renegade folder. guess i just installed in the wrong place. Blush]

make it install in the data folder or better in a specific folder or desktop and then move them to the data folder Big Ups

Yeah, when you go to install stuff from game-maps make sure that it's pointing to the right directory, it normally points to

You must READ things before you install stuff.

Game-Maps.NET creates files in .exe installer files to allow new players to easy install skins and maps directly to the Westwood/Renegade/Data folder BUT you if you installed the game elsewhere, like I have, you have to change the file path, which is easy. Razz

Also, not many people know this, you can simpely right click over the .exe file and choose to extract to file or whatever bypassing the install process gui, you may need to have winrar or winzip for that.

The new Renegade skins/maps have started to have dual download links, one being the .exe and the other being a .zip file, so whatever you prefer, you can use.

yeah, i read the stuff, its just that i notice that it said the c drive instead of the d drive.

BTW: TFD (the first decade) renegade uses a different folder, it's located:

C:Program Files\EA Games\The First Decade (TM)\Command and Conquer Renegade (TM)\Renegade\Data
