In your original statement you made no such differences between the 2 situations mainly through rushing (at a guess) and not being able to see what a phrase can elude too.

The same can be said with legislative material (laws) if they are not properly thought through of all situations things can be taken to mean other things, much like the the topic on which this thread is based.

That Fucking Blows!!! Anyone who is acused of a crime and gets off of it because "Oh! we can't find and interpreter so you get off free" has a judge that is full of shit. If I was a judge, 1 i would throw 30% of cases out of court on stupidity and contempt of the court. Point in case "OMG!!! I spilled coffe on myself so im going to sue McDonalds because I didn't know it was hot!!!" or "I'm insulted that my daughter has to say "Under God" when saying the pledge of allegiance. If you have a problem with what we do in our schools move out of here. The founders were Christian and they came up with it. Why should we baby the minority that hate certain things that Americans do? Some us are idiots.
While im on my rant, if there are people that can't speak english, they live up here and they want to make the US bilingual they should just leave. If they want to be citizens, they should learn our language. Sneaky

besides english is fucking easy to learn. when i came to canada i barely knew the alphabet, 2 months later i was getting high 70s on essays in grade 10 english.
