You're an idiot, but I will say this...

These extreme forms of censorship is absolutely ridiculous. People and parents need to be the ones doing the censoring, not organizations or the government. If you don't want a bloody, gory game for yourself or in the hands of your children, do the research first.

They are gay.

Manhunt 2 (The game) Is banned in the UK for real killings that resembled the killings in the original Manhunt 1. Huh

I'm getting pretty sick of all this bullshit to be honest, And the fact the government try's to tell you what you can do/cant do/what games you can play/can't play.

But people will rebel and violent game trailers will be brought to the people one way or another.

I agree with cheesesoda, It should be the parents job.

Normally I would say the ESRB isn't that bad of a thing, but in this instance they've overstepped their boundaries.

Actually, Manhunt 2 recieved the "AO" rating because one of the levels takes place in a porno theater, and there are tits in the background.

So remember, extremely graphic violence is O.K, as long as no nipples slip out in the middle of it. If they do, GOD HELP YOU.

Does anyone remember the "good ol' days", when people didn't nitpick on every single issue of everything in every media-related item?

It's a sad fact about today's society, that people just can't be pleased, they always gotta find something to bitch about. In this case, parents complaining about violent video games, which is part of the reason the ESRB exists.

End line: it is YOUR responsiblity to censor your kids, not some organization's..

I actually decided to read the article...

This isn't new. ARC was established 7 years ago and has been "censoring" game trailers the entire time. However, they are only getting bad press now because the Gears of War trailer as been out since January, and with the recent issues relating to Manhunt 2, it seems suspicious that they pull the trailer now.

Personaly, I dont care.
I'll buy my son any game he wants, any time he wants.
ESRB can suck me sideways.

Even what I was young, I had Red Faction, Silent Hill, Etc.

Oh, wise one, could you be so kind as to tell us how you parent your child(ren) then? Obviously, you can't say "no", else they'll go behind their back.

Ever think that this logic is why there is so much censorship? Parents obviously are shrugging off their responsibility and blaming the nature of children as to why they shouldn't have to try.
