Every other hour Renegade Forums and its server backs up all the topics incase of loss due to attack or any other reason.
Right now as it stands it's taking longer and longer because if joe<random numbers> and his posts about the same thing in the mod forum. But its also because each second there is a new post somewhere and it needs to back that up eventually.
So, what's your longest time you've had to wait for a response while renforums was backing up itself?

You will find this information at the very bottom of the page.
Don't forget, every other hour it backs it up. The last one was 7pm GMT, so the next one will be at 9pm GMT. The winner with the longest one gets... Over 9 THOUSAND internets.
You may only have one input. If you supply more than one your first will be taken into account and all the rest will be discarded.
You may also talk about ways to speed up the backup time in this topic.

Usually around 3-4 minutes here. Incremental backups would seem quite logical.

EDIT: Yeah.. But these back-ups happen at the worst possible times.. Your replying to a topic.. then it just takes forever.. Sometimes the message isn't even posted and I get mad!
I wasted 2 mins typeing a message!
Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.
