The Shroud of Turin is dated at about 800 AD I've heard. Regardless of what is said about this tomb, it will change nothing.

I agree with Gbull. Every so many years someone comes along who claims they can....

I think the only irrefutable evidence there would be is if they could in fact find Jesus's DNA. I don't think that will ever happen though, especially after 2000 years.

My guess is that it would be a comparison of the DNA of the remains from each tomb to each other. Unless they got some from the Shroud of Turin.

Though, it would be interesting if Christianity was proven wrong. I mean, if there is irrefutable evidence, we can't just deny it.

What? Christianity denies irrefutable evidence like it's its job.

Out of the hundreds (perhaps thousands) of tombs out there... everyone believes that THAT is Jesus's tomb.

Then they claim that dna tests shows that it's jesus, when they don't have a CLUE of what Jesus's dna is.

YEA! Stupid idiots think they know everything.

So if hundred years from now, if my descendants dig a grave and find a coffin with the name "James" on it, how STUPID will it be if they assume it's me? hahaha! EEEDIOTS!

The media whores have NO CLUE on what they are talking about. Angry

You idiot, if they are your *true* descendents, your DNA will be similar with theirs, and yes, they will be able to tell if its you.

And, The JEsus DNA, Will probably come up "Holy DNA" Or something stupid like that.

Who knows, they might not find *normal* DNA.

Do you think that the FBI has Jesus' DNA on file from an old toothbrush or something? DNA is meaningless in this scenario, what the hell are they going to compare it to, to prove that it's him?

I am NOT trying to be Christ-like. I am just saying people are being idiots...some say there is no God, others say Jesus was not a virgin, and yet some say he was married and had children!

Who are these people? Scientists? Know-it-all's? Where is the base to these idiotic claims?

And to top this all off, this idiot Cameron pulls this shit like as if it's the most important issue in the world today.

Good luck finding the bones of Jesus. Hint: He was ressurected WITH his body.

You know, there are far better ways of articulating your point instead of calling them "unbelieving assholes" and telling them to "burn in hell". People won't respect your opinion unless you respect theirs.

It's a sin to pass judgement on others. Just live your life. It's not your fault if you're right just as it isn't their fault if you're wrong. I believe Jesus died for our sins, but it's no skin off of my back if someone else doesn't. It's their soul, not mine. Can Christians disprove it's not Jesus in that tomb? The answer is yes, and no. For me, Matthew is proof enough. To unbelievers, it's not. Can unbelievers prove it is Jesus? The answer at the moment is a resounding no. At the moment, publically there just isn't any evidence behind that claim. Personal testimony(Book of Matthew) is more proof than a guess to me. Especially since there is no gain for Matthew by making up the story.
