I finally beat Guitar Hero One (which I hear is significantly harder than Two), on Expert Difficulty. The prize:
The best unlock I've ever gotten in a game. Without cheating.
PS: Due to the frustration involved in the process, my controller is now in pieces. Luckily I have three others.

Ah, if only I could beat GH2, now.
My favorite thing now is to bring my friend (he plays bass in real life and is an expert bassist in the game) to a party and have us do YYZ on Co-op. Both of us on Expert. Draws one heck of a crowd.
Cowboys From Hell was insane. I broke two guitars trying to beat it. (RIP.) I blew a fuse on my subwoofer when the applause went off from beating the game. *replaces with one in my pocket*
On another note, this has re-kindled my love for the bass. I got a friend to dispose of my old "slicks" (smooth strings), and replace them with round-wound ones. They hurt like crazy, but they've got a good sound. I just learned how to play the bass-line for "Crazy on You" by Heart, and I'm trying to learn the one for "Carry on Wayward Son" by Kansas. Of course, I can only play by ear; I'm just a mimic.
