As the 2006 Hurricane season winds down, I just wanted to voice my opinion that Global warming must obviously be over.

Since Global warming has caused the really bad hurricanes over the last few years (remember how many named storms we had last year) and we almost didn't even hear the word hurricane in the news this year, I can only conclude that our lack of hurricanes was due to the fact that global warming has come to and end.

Science and weather patterns are so easy to understand these days, how wonderful.

Global warming is real, the planet has cooled down over time as huge amounts of carbon have been deposited underground as coal/oil & gas from millions of dead animals - when the dinosaurs ruled the earth temperatures world wide were much hotter, one of the factors of their extinction is the cold blooded lizards inability to deal with colder temperatures, and the success of mammals is due to that cooler climate we are adapted to and enjoy today.

As we burn tonnes and tonnes of carbon based fuels and emmit other noxious gases, whilst simultaniously destroying forests and vegetation worldwide, it will inevitably effect the global temperature - we are imbalancing the natural carbon cycle from both ends and unless something is done the consequences will be dramatic and most likely deadly.

Yup..

were just speeding up the process isn't it..? but theres still asteroids and other stuff we have to worry about but lets keep killing eachother its not like mother nature will eventualy do that for us.
